Picked up the car

T-19 days
Rigby gave me a lift up to Chesham yesterday to pick up the car. Nav took the cash and handed me the keys and I left back for Shepperton. As soon as I started it the fuel light was on, you have got love car traders, I headed to the nearest station to fill £80 of unleaded in her. Once on the M25 I set the cruise control at 70 and much to my surprise she sat there very quiet and smooth, steering with two fingers.
I picked Nora up at the house and we took a trip to Go Outdoors in Baisingstoke to pick up some bits for the trip. We got a couple of cheap chairs and a table which we can leave behind and some fuel for the stove. We then went over to their tent display having a laugh trying the tents fo size which then turned into a heated discussion about which one.
From there we went to Halfords for some wiper blades then back up the M3. I filled up once back and worked out she was doing about 22 to the gallon taking it easy. Ouch, 4000 divided by 22 equals lutts and lutts of money.
*grimace breaking back into a grin*
